The site is spacious and flat with sheltered paddock.

Adjoining the Campsite is a secluded, wooded glen which leads to the Manx
Heritage Trail, a delightful easy walk through splendid Manx countryside from the Quayside in Douglas through to the City of Peel.
The village of Union Mills is a ten minute walk from the Campsite and offers a convenience shop and post office, petrol station, and a traditional public house “The Railway” offering local beer and food, with the Crosby Hotel – one and a quarter miles away on the TT course offering good food and parking.
The Hawthorn – in Greeba is a family run pub/restaurant offers fresh, home-made traditional and international dishes to suit a wide range of tastes, ages and occasions.
